Brother has announced two improvements to its GraffiTee Series of Digital Garment Printers, in the form of free firmware upgrades.
The first firmware upgrade increases the maximum print area of the GraffiTee Series printer from up to 14” x 16” to up to 16” x 18” (16” x 17” for CMYK with white ink)‡. This greater print area requires optional Brother large platen for operation (additional purchase required). Current customers can contact Brother Technical Support for the free upgrade at 1-877-427-6843.
The second upgrade is the availability of LAN/Ethernet connectivity, which can help reduce transfer time of design data (compared to high USB connection) up to 50%* (cable not included). Customers can download this free firmware upgrade from the Owner Login section of their website www.brother-usa.com. Registration and serial number required.
Both upgrades are available for all GraffiTee Series models, GT-341, GT-361, and GT-381.
“We are excited to announce these improvements to our GraffiTee Series printers,” states Peter Holland, Senior Director and General Manager for the Industrial Products Division at Brother International Corporation. Holland continues, “The increased print area gives the customer greater flexibility and helps increase product offerings and the LAN/Ethernet connectivity offers our customers faster transfer of design data to the printer, which helps lower production times, especially beneficial with larger operations.”
The Brother GraffiTee Series of digital garment printers consists of an initial lineup of three modular models allowing buyers to upgrade as their business grows. This series of three machines offers a CMYK-only printer, a CMYK with two white print heads, and a CMYK with four white print heads and single pass printing for higher speed and performance.
