More honours for Epson SureColor printers at 2025 iF Design Awards

Having previously secured Pinnacle and Red Dot awards, the Epson SureColor printer series is back on the podium, scooping more industry honours at the 2025 iF Design Awards. The SureColor S9100 eco-solvent and F9500/9500H dye sublimation wide format printers were both recognised for iF Design awards, along with the 64” SureColor P20500 series, which services the professional photography, graphic and fine art markets.

Kodak quick to allay ‘bumpy road’ fears

Kodak has issued a statement explaining that the ‘going concern disclosure’ referenced in the official financial performance results it filed with SEC on August 11th, was simply ‘a technical report that is required by accounting rules’. The company further states that: ‘Kodak has no plans to cease operations, go out of business, or file for bankruptcy protection. To the contrary, Kodak is confident it will repay, extend, or refinance its debt and preferred stock on, or before, its due date.’

Taylor moves from small screen to big picture to take reins of oOh!media

To be applauded for its continuity of leadership, Cathy O’Connor, who notified plans for her intention to step down from oOh!media back in April, will remain at the helm until the end of the year. But her successor has now been confirmed as James Taylor, who is currently the managing director of Special Broadcasting Service (SBS), Australia’s multicultural and multilingual public broadcaster. Taylor will take the reins of the Out of Home media company at the start of the new year.

Bumpy ride ahead still for Kodak?

Whilst the Eastman Kodak Company, the iconic printing and imaging company founded in 1880, is pushing back on reports that it may not be in business for that much longer, the company’s second quarter financial report, includes a statement citing ‘substantial doubt about the Company's ability to continue as a going concern’. This statement has sparked concerns about history repeating itself when Kodak was forced to file for bankruptcy protection in 2012, after struggling with increasing competition, continuing growth in digital photography and growing debt.

Print meets art with Mimaki and Metamo
