Epson Surepress inkjet label presses hit a 'sweet spot' in the label production market since the SP 4033A was first launched in 2012. That sweet spot is the space between bench/desktop typw label printers that are handy but very slow, and the higher-end production inkjet machines thrumming along at up to 80 metres/minute.

HP results Q1 are up, but job cuts to go ahead

HP says it plans to go ahead with cutting between 1,000-2,000 jobs this year, as part of a structural savings programme aimed to save the business an additional USD$300m for its 'Future Ready' restructuring programme that started in 2023.
