Over 60 speakers will present their research on core inkjet technologies at the Crowne Plaza Düsseldorf. Organisers say several hundreds of developers, innovators and decision makers are expected to join the event "to peer into the future of digital printing and assess its impact on various manufacturing processes."

Inaugurated in 2014, TheIJC (The Inkjet Conference) has established itself as the focal point for learning and discussion between those who want to make global connections and share thoughts on inkjet innovation.

“Each year hundreds of participants leave the event with a head full of ideas, new partnerships and a complete technology update,” says a media release. “The conference looks at a chain of events starting with the core technology and following through the integration to the market application. Each development or evolution in the core technology is assessed against the application and the market requirements. Some core technology developments will revolutionise the application, whilst the same core technology development will be irrelevant in another market. With over 60 presentations, TheIJC covers all areas and explores the links between them.

“The event opens with plenary sessions before dividing into three tracks. The plenaries cover printhead innovation and feature the latest developments from the world’s leading manufacturers. Track One covers hardware and software; Track Two is for fluids and analysis; Track Three stages research and innovation. Delegates are free to move between tracks and are encouraged to vote for the best speakers.”

The 6th edition of TheIJC features a record total of 62 presentations
