Printers often have problems scanning thick or rigid surfaces, because of their lack of flexibility, Océ have an answer for this.
Now Océ’s IF Award-winning TCS4 colour scanner comes in an XT version that can be equipped with an option allowing it to scan bulky or inflexible originals of up to 15mm in depth.
The Océ TCS4 XT has a larger feeding counter at the front and a flat retractable receiving table at the back to cater for scanning of rigid media. In addition, the scanner top cover is fitted with a handle to allow height regulation when scanning thicker substrates.
The colour scanner last year received the IF Product Design Award for its clear design language and intuitive user interface,
It was cited for its user-friendly and convenient operation, pre-defined copy and scan templates, automatic width recognition and ergonomic design. The Océ TCS4 XT also features Océ Direct Scan technology that ensures consistent and precise images in both black and white and colour.
It can be set up as a stand-alone unit or integrated with the Océ TDS450 and Océ TDS700 wide format monochrome systems, as well as the Océ TCS500 wide format colour device, offering seamless communication between the three printers.
