drupa organiser Messe Düsseldorf GmbH has appointed trade show travel specialists Robert and Roslyn Laing to head up its new office in Sydney as the countdown continues to drupa 2020, the largest print trade show in the world. The Laings most recently ran the German company’s New Zealand office.

“Messe Düsseldorf GmbH will now be represented in Australia through Robert and Roslyn Laing and their company Messe Reps. Pty Ltd,” the German company announced in a statement. “The representative office will be located in Sydney. They have gathered vast experience in the trade fair business. Inter alia, since 1989 they have been representing Messe Düsseldorf in New Zealand.
“We hereby like to thank Mrs. Gabi Schwager and her company The Exhibition Coach for the successful co-operation during the past year. Gabi will leave Australia at her own wish.
“With the new agency we are confident that we can continue our successful development in Australia. Robert and Roslyn Laing will be happy to be your first contact point for all Messe Düsseldorf trade fairs held in Düsseldorf and around the globe.

Messe Reps, a specialist in travel to trade fairs, has been the representative in New Zealand for shows organised by Koelnmesse, Messe Düsseldorf and Messe München, held in the German cities of Cologne, Düsseldorf and Munich and in other cities around the world.
The company provides exhibitors and visitors with information on the shows, assistance in finding accommodation and tourist information. “Our detailed knowledge of Germany and our experience in dealing with the special requirements of trade fair travellers enables us to answer all your questions about travelling to Germany and to other fair venues worldwide,” it says.
