ASGA and FESPA Australia are collaborating on a series of free webinar sessions, beginning this Thursday, to examine the JobKeeper scheme and other issues related to coronavirus guidelines.
“The Australian Sign & Graphics Association with FESPA Australia are excited to announce their first of many Webinar Sessions to be hosted by Daryl Beasley, joined by Warwick Ryan (Hicksons Lawyers), Rodney James (Chartered Accountant and Senior Manager, Findex) and Mick Harrold (ASGA Board Member), to discuss the effect of JobKeeper and industry guidelines,” says a joint media statement.
“ASGA & FESPA have been working together to develop this unique opportunity to support the industry. The FREE Webinar session is open to anyone in the sign and print industries. There is no need to be an Association member to listen in.”
The first live Q&A session will begin 11am AEST Thursday 30th April (WA 9am, SA & NT 10:30am).
“Join us to gain valuable knowledge about the impact Covid‐19 is having on our employees and our businesses. We will put questions to our experts to that they can help you understand Jobkeeper, employee stand downs, accounting question and much more. Also gain an insight into how others in the industry are coping and when they think the bounce back will come for our industry.”
Issues to be discussed could include: Can I reduce an eligible employee’s hourly rate? How do I report JobKeeper in my accounting system? Can I request an employee to take paid annual leave?
Association members are also invited to submit their relevant questions prior to the Q&A session by emailing michael_punch@signs.org.au
“We will also be taking questions on the day, and we will endeavour to answer these questions too.”
