For over 6 years, Vince Bezzina, the Printhead Doctor, has saved sign and display printers thousands of dollars by professionally recovering blocked printheads of all types. He has also supplied the hardware, training and fluids for larger printers to clean their own printheads. The sale is being brokered by licensed business broker Michael O'Connell of A S Fisher Co., who many in the industry will know.
He says: "On behalf of Vince, we are offering the business name, the inventory assets of head cleaning machinery, cleaning fluids and the website, which has been the main drawcard for people sending in their clogged heads for recovery. The inventory alone is valued at around $43,000."
O'Connell believes, as the business takes very little space to operate and is all conducted on the phone and email (no need to visit clients), it would suit a work-from-home situation, which is what Bezzina was operating; or, as an add on service to an existing synergistic business.

The Printhead Doctor has sold equipment, head adaptors and fluid consumables all across Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia. He has also offered new printheads for sale to fit all popular makes of wide format printers, solvent, UV and aqueous.
The cost to recover a blocked printhead is around the AUD$400 mark which, considering a new head may be anywhere between $2,000 and $6,000 is a worthwhile service. Bezzina has experienced a 90% success rate in head recoveries.
