Soon after securing a contract to handle all signage for the Penrith Panthers NRL club in 2021, western Sydney sign business Montana Signs has invested in a new Roland VG2-640 with TR2 inks - including green, one of the team's colours.

Owner Enzo Montana says he chose the Roland VG2 wide format inkjet printer cutter, supplied by Graphic Art Mart, after seeing a demonstration at Roland DG Australia headquarters in Sydney.
“The new VG2 printer using TR2 inks has been a revelation for my business and I’m glad we invested in another Roland to help push out high quality work for our customers,” Montana (below, right) said.

Roland DG Corporation introduced the new Green TR2 ink for its TrueVIS VG2 Series 64” and 54” printer cutters las year.
“When combined with vibrant Orange ink as process colours and the ‘Multi-Process Colour function,’ new Green ink provides greatly increased gamut expansion and richer visual expression," said Kevin Shigenoya, vice president, Digital Printing Business Division, Roland DG. "Plus, with the True Rich Colour preset, you can combine neutral greys, smooth gradations, and natural skin tones to produce breath-taking graphics with stunning realism. Users can now reproduce corporate colours that have traditionally been considered difficult to reproduce - if not impossible - and create lifelike sign graphics that serve as highly effective communication tools and leave a lasting impression."
Montana Signs, located at 21 Abel St, Jamisontown - three minutes from Panthers stadium - also announced it would be partnering Penrith Panthers for the 2021 NRL season as a corporate sponsor.
