Aslan have stated that their new digital printing film, Aslan DFP 45, offers a guaranteed exterior durability of up to six months and can be used for temporary, eye-catching designs on outdoor façades.
This new self-adhesive film, they say, is particularly suitable for creative applications on exterior buildings, e.g. for retail stores, supermarkets, shopping arcades, discos, underground car parks and warehouses. 80 µ thick, glossy white and opaque, this digital printing film has a special, 250 µ thick, weather-resistant adhesive. Not only does it stay in place on roughcast, it can be affixed to any type of exterior wall – from simple concrete walls to coarse thermal plaster.
Quick and easy to use, it is an ideal alternative to textile banners because it is less expensive and time-consuming to install. It’s a trendsetting product, offering flexibility and a range of other advantages which sign makers and designers in the event and promotion industry and shopfitters will love because it opens up possibilities for new, previously impossible applications. For example, a shop-window design using one-way-vision film Aslan DF 50 Plus with a digital print can be carried over onto the façade using Aslan DFP 45 to create a giant-format, high-impact eye-catcher that can be seen from a distance.
The Aslan DFP 45 façade film can easily be printed on with common solvent, eco-solvent or UV ink. Its convenient attachment method means that only the edges have to be heat-sealed (at a distance of 5 to 10 cm from the outer edge) in order to ensure weather resistance. Aslan DFP 45 is available in 25 m x 1.37 m format.
