New Zealand sign company Harland Graphics, in business for 115 years and based at Taumarunui in the central North Island, has had a change of ownership, with experienced signwriter Gareth Dunn and his wife Sarah taking over. The business has been renamed Vivid Signs.
The company, established in 1906, has been run by Jamie and Anne-Maree Harland for over 26 years, providing printing and signage services to the South Waikato and central North Island.
“Vivid Signs purchased Harland Graphics in April 2021 and rebranded the company to Vivid Signs Ltd,” said a statement from the new owners, Gareth and Sarah Dunn.
“This will continue to be run as a family owned business, with new owners Gareth and Sarah, as well as their son, Jack. Vivid Signs will continue to provide local sign writing and printing services in Taumarunui and beyond as it has for the last 26 years.”
Gareth worked as a signwriter at Harland Graphics for the past eight years.
He says he's looking forward to taking over the business, which is well equipped for the future. “We currently have a Mimaki 300 series UV LED wide format printer, a Roland VP 540 as well as a Fuji Xerox 180 press,” Dunn told Wide Format Online.
The company offers window signage and films, vehicle signs, exterior signage, large format printing, brochure, flyers, decals, stickers and labels, business cards, envelopes and stationery, as well as graphic design services.
