Epson’s popular EcoTank printers – featured in comedian Jimeoin’s ‘No Cartridges’ TV ads - have won a prestigious Red Dot: Best of the Best of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021 - awarded to only a small fraction of approximately 7,800 entries. The company’s document scanners and professional photo printers have also been recognised.

This A4/A3 inkjet multi-purpose series of business printers now features Epson’s Ecotank system. "With low cost, compact design that fits on a desktop, the fastest print speed in its class and high environmental performance thanks to low energy consumption, it’s changing the SOHO business scene," said Epson.
This year marks the fifth successive year that Epson products have won in the product design category, and the third in which its printers had received the Red Dot: Best of the Best.

Created in 1955 in Germany, the Red Dot Design Award is organised by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen design centre and is recognised around the world as one of the most prestigious awards in design. A jury of experts evaluates products announced during the past two years and selects the best designs based on nine criteria, including degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, ecological compatibility, and durability. This year’s winners were selected from entries from around the world.
