“Recent developments around COVID restrictions in a number of States are being closely monitored by the PacPrint Board and our Visual Connections Events Team,” says Peter Harper, CEO of organisers, Visual Connections.

Harper says the Visual Connections team has been fielding calls about the status of the events, but says exhibitors and visitors alike can be confident that planning is proceeding ‘as per the original schedule’ and in line with all advice provided.PacPrint2017 view

“We are still three months away from exhibitors moving in to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the PacPrint Board remains committed to delivering this must-visit trade show at the end of September in Melbourne as planned,” he says.

“From the very first phase of planning, we have focussed on delivering PacPrint in a COVID-safe environment. We are confident we can do so. These occasional flare-ups are expected and anticipated, and we do not intend for them to derail plans for the show.

“We continue to work closely with the MCEC and other key suppliers to ensure all parties are in step, and that any measures required are enacted appropriately.”

The PacPrint Board and Visual Connections Management team have regular reports from the Events team each Tuesday, and Harper says exhibitors will continue to be kept fully informed as the planning process continues.

PacPrint 2021, Visual Impact Melbourne and the Label & Packaging Expo are set to run from 28 September to 1 October at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Click here to register for the show, go to www.pacprint.com.au for more.
