The NSW PICAs event scheduled to take place in Sydney next week has been postponed to a date yet to be confirmed by co-organisers Visual Connections and the PVCA.
“The PICA Presentations, Sydney will be postponed from its scheduled date on 16 July due to changing COVID restrictions,” said Visual Connections. “A new date will be advised shortly. The SA/NT PICAs due to be presented in Adelaide on Friday 2 July were postponed until 19 August after the SA government reimposed social distancing restrictions and mandatory mask-wearing following a spike in new Covid 19 cases. Earlier, a delay in renovation works at the Marriot Hotel in Melbourne forced the postponement of the Victorian PICA awards night from 9 July to Friday 6 August.
Bookings are open for all presentations, as scheduled below. VisCon said: “Due to changing COVID restrictions, however, we recommend you watch this space to keep up with any changes which may become necessary.”
