Southern Impact commenced wide format manufacturing in August 2019. Since this time, they have seen significant growth in this area; resulting in the investment of several pieces of new equipment.
Peak Digital was established in 2006 and is currently owned by Andrew and Mel Robertson. They have established themselves as a high quality manufacturer delivering excellent outcomes for their varied customer base.
Under the acquisition, Peak Digital will retain their current brand and will continue to operate and manufacture at their current premises in Seaford, Victoria. Andrew Robertson and the entire team will continue to operate as they currently are, providing both customers and suppliers with complete continuity and high levels of service.
Rod Dawson, Managing Director Southern Impact is ecstatic to bring Peak Digital into the Southern Impact family.
“The opportunity to add the capabilities, diverse product offering and manufacturing expertise of Peak Digital provides us with everything required to continue our expansion plans in this sector. The way that Andrew and the team at Peak Digital deal with their customers is strongly aligned to the business approach held by Southern Impact and we couldn't be happier to welcome them into the fold,” he says.
Wide format online visited Peak Digital in 2012, just 6 years after establishing the business as both a screen printing and digital wide format provider. The Robertsons had recently installed an HP Scitex FB700 and have continued adding digital output devices, such as an Epson Surecolour SC80600 in 2018.
Peak Digital is highly sustainability-aware and generates 85% of its power needs from over 280 solar panels situated on its roof.
The business is reported to employ around 15 people, with annual sales of over AUD$3 million.
