Mimaki Australia has celebrated the arrival of its new JV100-160 eco-solvent printer by bundling a CG FXII Plus cutter and LA160-W laminator into a package below $33,000 + gst including delivery and installation anywhere in Australia. It's available only on existing stock and Mimaki even publishes the stock position on its specials website, so if you are in the market for a new 1600mm printer-cutter-laminator package, now is the time to act.

Two deals are available from Mimaki - the 'Kong' deal is with the new JV100-160, cutter and laminator at $32,995 + gst, representing a 20% saving and the 'Lion' deal features the JV300-160 Plus printer, cutter and laminator at $34,995 + gst, representing an 8% saving. Both bundle deals are available through Mimaki's Australia-wide network of authorised dealers.
With two newly developed heads, the JV100-160 has pursued high quality, high productivity, and stable operation as a eco-solvent inkjet printer.
In addition to NCU (Nozzle Check Unit), NRS (Nozzle Recovery System), and MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System4) that enable stable and high-quality printing, DAS (Dot Adjustment System) is also provided to new “100 series” printers. Dot position correction and feed amount correction, which used to be manual operations and require time and effort, can be automated, reducing the workload on the operator.
The JV100-160 introduced a new ink, AS5, at 20% lower cost per 600ml bladder plus a new Orange to widen the colour gamut of the CMYK_lc, lm and lk. AS5 Eco-Sol ink is Greenguard certified and does not require fume extraction.
The CG-FXII Plus cutter is a new model and successor of theCG-FXII. A new function is ID Cut, useful for labor-saving process and efficient printing, including back-liner half-cut for easier peelability. Seals, stickers, and labels can also be created through cutting along the contours of graphics printed by the inkjet printer.
LA-W Series] is a warm laminator achieved the maximum laminating speed 7,500mm/min.(*1) and usable for UV print laminating, too.
The LA-160W laminator has a warming function, which reduces the silvering influence of UV print lamination. This is a warm function available to heat up to max. 60 degrees. Laminating with such heating improves the adhesion of lamination to reduce 'Silvering' caused by unevenness of a print surface due to properties of some inks. 'Silvering' is a whitening phenomenon of the graphic image caused by trapped air bubbles during laminating.
The 3-piece bundle is also available with the JV300-160 Plus printer, also a new model in the JV300 Series."
Environmental consideration, economic performance, and work efficiency have been added as 'Plus' features as well as high functionality.
