“The Board bid farewell to VIC Patron, Kirsten Taylor last month,” said Kellie Northwood, CEO of The Real Media Collective (TRMC). “Whilst the Board will certainly miss Kirsten’s contribution, she will remain an active member of Women in Print.

“The Board is actively calling for nominations to replace Kirsten in the coming months – if you would like to self-nominate or you know a fabulous dynamic Victorian woman in Print in Victoria, send in a nomination to hello@womeninprint.com.au.”

Taylor, described by Northwood as “a powerhouse of the industry,” won the inaugural Exceptional Women in Print award at the 2020 National Print Awards.

Three webinars in TRMC’s recent Power of Print series were delivered by Women in Print. In the most recent, Kelly Duncan and June Hartel from Yellow NZ shared insights into how Yellow NZ “revitalised its approach to customers, learnt from SMEs, advertisers and brands to bring strong solutions that align under a common delivery of marketing services.”

There was also a bonus session in the Power of Print series, presented by Steven Gamble founder of Man Anchor, which looked at mental health during lockdown. "This was followed by an open Q&A session across two countries to share vulnerabilities, successes and stories of how we have all overcome adversity," Northwood said.

Panellists included Ruth Cobb from PrintNZ, Rodney Frost, The Lamson Group and Andrew Ward of Konica Minolta. You can watch the recording for the session here.
