“A huge congratulations to our team who have just taken out Avery’s “Wrap like a King” award for our work on the famous “Faure Le Page” Lamborghini," the company said on its website.

“Thank you to Avery Dennison for awarding us this honour on a very special project that all our team are very proud to have delivered throughout the global pandemic, working with France via Zoom to recreate Faure Le Page's amazing patterned leather goods in a vehicle wrap."

Avery Dennison released this project description of the winning entry:

"When French leather goods brand “Faure Le Page” launched in Australia they contacted Grafico to help transform their amazing Lamborghini Huracan Performante. Many hours were spent working online via zoom with France to translate their famous pattern on to a vehicle wrap template. The French design team were adamant that the pattern flowed seamlessly over the body of the car and was represented in the highest manner as per their high-end leather products. As a result, several hours were spent ensuring the pattern was printed in a way to ensure a seamless application. Once artwork was approved the entire job was printed to a matte laminated Avery wrap film. To make the design pop even more layers of high-gloss lemon yellow vinyl film was applied over the wrap to give a spot gloss effect and stand out even more. Once again several hours were completed to ensure the wrap flowed seamlessly with many areas reprinted to ensure it was perfect! It certainly tested all our teams skills! The results speak for themselves and both the client here in Australia + France HQ were extremely happy with the outcome!"

In its latest "Friday Wrap" video, Grafico also showcased a stunning new wrap for Porsche Australia. “In a unique collaboration with contemporary artist NIGEL JOHN SENSE, Porsche has commissioned a bespoke Australian artwork to create a one-of-a-kind NFT auction, celebrating Porsche’s 70 years in Australia," it said.  "The Grafico team was chosen to turn the 2D artwork in to a digital print wrap applied to the latest electric Taycan Turbo."

Established in Carlton in 2004 by graphic designer Damian Corney, Grafico grew rapidly and now occupies a larger facility at 57 Steel St, North Melbourne, offering full design, print and signage services. The company’s business units include Grafico Auto and Grafico Walls, which has a showroom in Brisbane.
