Sun llc, the Russian company leading the race to install UV LED curing as the de facto standard curing technology in the global sign industry reported a great Drupa 08 with many orders and huge interest from across the globe.
Sun llc were showing off their Neo UV-LED Evolution in Drupa's Innovation Hall, a 2.5m flatbed and RtR machine that can accomodate rigid media up to 20cm thick.
Sun's sister company, Sunflower ink supply the ink that can be cold cured using UV LED technology.
At the show, Sun llc were displaying signs warning of the dangers of normal UV curing. Dangers that include burns to operators as well as to media.
The cost of running normal UV technology was also highlighted vs the new UV LED that lowers the operating costs,the lamp replacement costs as well as expanding the range of media that can be used in the cold curing process.
Sun reported huge interest from distributors from around the globe who were keen to sign up distribution rights to the Sun products.
