It hasn't been audited yet and there are concerns about some visitors not having been 'scanned' but it looks like PacPrint attracted between 6,500 and 7,000 visitors over its 4 days. Certainly Friday felt very busy indeed and many New Zealanders showed up too.
Held in tandem with Visual Impact and Labels & Packaging, PacPrint roared back into life |
Well, that was the show that was - PacPrint 21 held in '22 after 2 postponements. It looked fantastic with exhibitors putting on a great display bot on the show floor and after hours at the various Awards and private functions.
Such shows have detailed wash-ups and audits but it looks like - and felt like around 7,000 attended, which is an outstanding number given that FESPA Berlin was around 11,000. The only downside is that some visitors are starting to test positive for Covid - myself included. Print21's Editor at Large Patrick Howard is another...how many more I wonder? Probably the planes involved but who knows?
More in Thursday's newsletter but for now, our pick for the stand of the show - Ball & Doggett's amazing construction entirely out of EnviroCore fibreboard. It was complete with a table tennis setup, also made from the Lithgow, NSW-manufactured sustainable material.
