Laser company Trotec has introduced new colour varieties and improved ink-adhesion for its Digital Print Series laserable plastics - “ideal for applications that combine printing, laser engraving and laser cutting, as well as print-and-cut applications such as interior signs, decorative signage, POS displays and badges.”
Trotec Laser Inc. is launching an extended line of Digital Print Series (DPS) laser and engraving materials, the company said.
“These premium-quality, print-receptive plastics are now available in a wider range of surface finishes, including matte and gloss colours, mirrored, radiant and brushed metal finishes, with superior ink-adhesion properties.
“Designed specifically for printing with UV & LED curing inks, DPS materials are comprised of a modified-impact acrylic core, and a pre-treated surface for superior ink adhesion. Their unique composition makes these materials ideal for applications that combine printing, laser engraving and laser cutting, as well as print-and-cut applications such as interior signs, decorative signage, POS displays, badges, and more."
Warren Knipple, president of Trotec Laser, Inc. said: "Our growing materials product line allows us to provide our customers with new opportunities to broaden product offerings, meet a wider range of application needs, and get the most out of a laser investment. When we can empower our customers to grow business and increase profits, everyone wins."
