“swissQprint has engaged with Zund, Antalis and Compass Business Finance to show production leaders and decision makers in digital printing, signage, and packaging how to achieve a more effective and sustainable print production process to meet clients' environmental needs,” the company said.

Hosted at swissQprint's UK headquarters in Bracknell on 27-28 September, each group of guests will explore sustainability issues across the production process, including reducing energy consumption, minimising waste, and using environmentally friendly materials in their printing.

swissQprint's industry leading flatbed printer, the Nyala 4, will be on display for visitors to evaluate, together with Zund’s market leading versatile S3 L-1600 Swiss built precision digital cutter, designed to reduce waste through its efficient hardware and advanced nesting software.

Dean Ashworth, sales and marketing director at Zund UK, said: “At this important event, we want to showcase the wider possibilities for sustainable manufacturing in the print and packaging industry, through the use of our highly versatile hardware and software solutions that are customisable to every bespoke production process."

In addition, UK leader in papers, packaging, and visual communication distribution, Antalis, will showcase key products from their expanding range of sustainable materials for large format print applications. Their Green Star System rates products from zero to five stars based upon material make-up and recyclability at end of life, making eco-responsible choices much easier to navigate.

Print and packaging finance experts Compass Business Finance will provide analyses of ways in which print service suppliers can achieve a more effective and sustainable production process.

"It is not often that print service providers get the chance to address so many elements of their business at one event, and swissQprint is proud to assemble such a wealth of experience in one place,” said Erskine Stewart, MD of swissQprint. “Truly, this will be a 'one-stop shop' for discussing all things sustainable and we look forward to meeting both new and existing contacts from across the industry."
