Neschen describes the new film as having 'crystal-clear transparency' in unprinted areas. Easy Dot PET transparent L-UV is an addition to the hugely successful Easy Dot range which includes white and is distributed by Starleaton in Australia and New Zealand.

The German manufacturer says Easy Dot Clear PET film is suitable for both short-term graphics and permanent displays. It can also be used with a special white backing film if required, which acts like a laminate and replaces the need to add a white overprint. Neschen says: “This saves ink, time and money.”
The 75μm thin PET version of Easy Dot is in addition to the slightly thicker (and more 'stretchy') 100μm PVC range and is fire-safety certified, available in 137.2cm wide rolls in lengths of 10 or 50 metres. It uses Neschen's easy dot adhesive technology for bubble-free bonding, because the adhesive is applied in 'dots' rather than in a traditional overall smooth coating. This allows bubble- free and simple application with air being able to travel between the dots and escape. It also enables residue-free removal from most surfaces.
Other key qualities include included dimensional stability and suitability for kiss-cutting. Easy Dot PET clear is suited to UV curing (inc. LED and Gel), and is certified for HP Latex inks.
Neschen claims that using the PET film could result in material savings of around 25% compared with PVC products - “significantly reducing waste volumes.”
