The Australian Sign & Graphics Association says a two-day Sign & Graphics taster course – free to high school students and teachers - has been scheduled for the 23rd & 24th of November in WA. The first of ASGA’s taster courses was held last month in Brisbane, and TAFE SA will host a similar event in Tonsley, Adelaide this week (9-10 November).
“This is an ideal introduction for anyone thinking about a career in signage,” ASGA said. “To ensure maximum take-up, please distribute this information to your networks.”
The Sign & Graphics workshop will be held at TAFE WA North Metropolitan at Midland in Perth at 8:30am-2pm on 23 & 24 November.
The first of the signage taster courses was held on the 26th and 27th of October at TAFE Queensland, Southbank, Brisbane.
With dates for South Australia and Western Australia now confirmed, other states will hold courses later in the year and early next year.
