Now that trade shows are back in full swing, 2023 will see great Signage and Wide Format events locally, in Europe and the USA. Here’s a digest of what’s happening so you can plan your travel and stays.
Not too shabby! Mandalay Bay Convention Centre will host the ISA Expo, Las Vegas in April 2023 |

NEC, Birmingham, UK
21-13 March 2023
A smallish show inside the NEC - former home of IPEX, but just one of the 17 Halls (2). Very handy to get in and out of by flying direct into Birmingham International Airport – literally next door. If travelling up from London the NEC has its own train station along the way.
Las Vegas, USA
April 12-14 2023
The huge ISA expo alternates yearly between Orlando and Las Vegas. The 2023 event is in Vegas, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre – complete with 11-acre beach & pool area! A massive show that caters for all aspects of sign manufacture, fabrication and of course print. Good old American hospitality, great food at good prices and loads of fun! A great way to prime up for Visual Impact the follwing month.

3-5 May 2023
Sydney, Australia
Our very own local expo is back! Held at the convenient Sydney Showgrounds, all the big names in signage and display will be there, and some. The floorplan has just been updated and over 60% of the show is already either sold or on hold, with HP currently the largest exhibitor, followed by RolandDG, Spicers, Starleaton, Epson and Pozitive and many more. You can’t miss it!

Print & Digital Convention 2023
16-17 May 2023
Düsseldorf, Germany
This is more conference than expo but is seen as a precursor to the big one – drupa 2024 at the same fairground. It’s always such a pleasure to visit beautiful, friendly Dusseldorf.
23-26 May 2023
Munich, Germany
Hopefully, this FESPA Global Print Expo will have shaken off all the disruption caused by Covid and the Ukranian situation. Munich is a great city and 1,800Km from Kiev, with Czechia and Poland in-between, so should be safe! Logistics and energy may be impacted though.
It looks like the big China shows might not be fully off the ground in 2023, as we reported in October, one has been cancelled due to the strict ‘Zero Covid’ policy of Beijing. Sign China appears to be a Virtual Online show for 2023 with dates for a physical show yet to be confirmed.
If this changes, we’ll let you know.
Not forgetting:
May 28 - June 7, 2024
Düsseldorf, Germany
Sadly postponed in 2021 due to Covid, the biggest print show is on track for 2024 having missed a cycle for the first time. Wide format signage and display is sure to be a major feature but so will industrial applications for digital print technologies, e.g. for corrugated, folding cartons, labels and hybrid offset/flexographic lines that include digital inkjet.
