More than 270 women from the print and sign industries attended PrintNZ’s Women in Print & Sign events in Auckland and Christchurch over the past couple of weeks. It was the first time women from sign companies were invited to the annual events.
“We were thrilled to host two amazing sell-out events in Auckland and Christchurch for 270 women, including colleagues from the Sign industry,” said organiser Print NZ. “Thank you so much to everyone who supported and attended the event - valuing and recognising the roles that women play in our industries. We love your work.
“The noise, the buzz, the networking and overall awesomeness of these events were amazing. The vivacious Kerre Woodham kept everyone entertained and had us all in stitches. From owners to operators, and everything in between, this was a real celebration of the amazing women in our industries.
“A huge thanks to our sponsors B&F, BJ Ball NZ, Computaleta, DIC, Heidelberg, Total Supply/Spicers, Torque and to all the businesses that supported the event by sending their teams along.”
The NZ Sign & Display Association added: “We are super grateful that our sign-maker ladies can now be included in this amazing event that PrintNZ holds every year in Auckland and Christchurch. Being surrounded by motivated and successful women is something to be experienced…it was a huge success.”
