It's a silver anniversary for Speedy Signs in New Zealand, with franchisees celebrating in difficult circumstances due to Cyclone Gabrielle in the country's North Island, making a physical all-franchise gathering impossible. A donation has been made for disaster relief in the Hawke's Bay region.

This February, Speedy Signs in New Zealand reaches an exciting milestone – 25 years in business!
Franchise operators acknowledgedthis anniversary by acknowledging the team, customers, suppliers, and all the people who have contributed to the success of this national brand.

With businesses and communities throughout New Zealand giving up so much over the last 25 years, it was felt felt it was only appropriate at times like these to give back with a charitable donation.
To help with the recovery efforts following the recent flooding, Speedy Signs has made a $12,000 donation to the Hawke's Bay Disaster Relief Trust.
Sharing the celebrations was Starpoint Brands (formerly United Franchise Group) Director Evan Foster who comments: "What an amazing achievement from our partners in New Zealand, as the Speedy Signs crew celebrated their 25th anniversary in style! Over the past quarter of a century, Grant, Sarah and their team have built an absolute powerhouse of a business. In many respects, they've led the way globally and continue to break records each year."
Cyclone Gabrielle is the worst weather event ever in the Southern Hemisphere and has so far caused over $13 billion in damage, with further rains threatening mud slips and more damage.
Of Speedy Signs 27 outlets in New Zealand, 15 are around Auckland and the far North - the main areas hit by the cyclone.
Communications are difficult and it is not yet known how many sign and print businesses have been affected.
