eProductivity Software (ePS), the recent software spin-off from EFI, has announced that it has acquired UK-based Tharstern Group, the management information system (MIS) software provider serving hundreds of customers, primarily in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, as well as in North America, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
ePS is a leading provider of innovative business and production software technology for the print and packaging industries, serving customers of all sizes and across all industry segments globally. The addition of Tharstern furthers ePS’ inorganic growth strategy and pursuit of delivering greater value to customers and the industry at large. It also further solidifies ePS’ leadership position in the SMB print segment and continues to drive geographical diversification of the business while adding new technologies to the ePS portfolio.

Tharstern has a long-standing presence, since 2005, in the ANZ region under Managing Director Tresta Keegan and in 2017 released a signage-friendly costing and estimating platform that included calculation for installation, plant hire, electrical and all the ancilliary aspects of sign-making in order to get the final product installed. Tharstern has already adopted the ePS 'colour swirl' logo to identify it as part of the group.
