Antalis has expanded its popular Coala brand of large-format digital media with a new addition to its wallcovering range that's suitable for Latex Inkjet, UV Curable Inkjet, and Xeikon printers.
New Coala WallDesign Stick R is a 150gsm white, matt, non-woven fleece equipped with a clear, removable adhesive. It can be re-positioned many times without loss of tack.
“The specially formulated adhesive of Coala WallDesign Stick R allows for ease of installation and, because it can be re-positioned, it can be installed by the non-expert,” Antalis said. “It is ideal for use in commercial environments where there is a need to update interiors on a regular basis, such as shops, hotels, museums, restaurants and more.”
Coala WallDesign Stick R has a matt surface that ensures consistently vibrant colour coverage and high-quality printed results on Latex Inkjet, UV Curable Inkjet, and Xeikon printers. It is available on 50-metre rolls in widths of 1067mm and 1520mm.
Mike Collins, Visual Communication Product Manager at Antalis said: “New WallDesign Stick R is a great addition to the Coala range. It is ideal for commercial printers looking to expand their offering. There is significant demand from the market for printable large-format products that can be installed by the non-expert. The print quality is superb, and businesses can easily update and personalise interiors without the expense of a professional installer. It’s also PVC-free and FSC-certified, helping to fulfil the need for more sustainable products.”
In May 2020, less than a year after acquiring Spicers, Japanese paper giant Kokusai Pulp and Paper (KPP) bought majority control of Antalis, the France-headquartered global paper, packaging and visual communications distributor with annual sales of around AUD$3.8 billion. Antalis' major shareholder Sequoia had entered liquidation, hence the sale.
