Transforming a cold, grey concrete showroom into a dazzling showroom within two weeks is quite and achievement but that’s just what the Currie Group team – with a little help from partners – did recently, hosting 3 days of customer demos, followed by a media night.
Currie Group’s new showroom, located in the high-tech Macquarie Park enclave, looks innocuous enough from the outside but once inside it’s a shining example of ceiling-to-floor printed graphics including faux brick patterns, courtesy of Orafol Australia who used ORAJET 3169 vinyl printed through a Canon Colorado M-series UVgel roll printer and EFI Pro 30h LED UV 3.2 metre hybrid roll/flatbed device.
Currie Group's Wide Format Divisional Manager Paul Whitehead remarked on how great it was to have a well-appointed Sydney showroom, as he congratulated Fleetmark of Dandenong South, Melbourne on buying the first Canon Colarado M-series from Currie Group since its recent appointment as a Canon reseller. Fleetmark is also a big customer for EFI wide format machines, also a Currie Group line. With the recently appointed Business Development Manager, Sign & Display, Ashley Playford-Browne taking care of the NSW market, things are looking up with the opening of a local showroom.
Another sale - a Canon Arizona 135GT was celebrated, to Tango Visuals of Bayswater North, Victoria, a vibrant sign and display company established over 20 years ago to service the needs of some of Australia's most loved brands. The Arizona 135GT prints edge-to-edge on 125 x 250cm rigid boards.
The vibrant wall vinyl was supplied by Orafol and Currie Group have partnered with several other industry suppliers on software and hardware to enable a complete, integrated service to its customers.
Pictured below are Michael Smith (L) and Trent Byrne of Orafol Australia in front of a graphic celebrating the partnership with Currie Group. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening and a fitting finale to the 3-day 'By Appointment' series for Currie Group's Sign & Display division. Expect more installation announcements in the near future!
