Sign industry identities gathered in Adelaide last week for a successful Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) Social Bowls Night, one of a suite of networking events the Association has been holding around the country.
More than 30 ASGA members, colleagues and friends gathered at the Adelaide Bowling Club in Kent Town for a night of friendly competition, great food and networking generously sponsored by Orafol.
An informal structure for the evening’s activities saw groups play a few rinks, with prizes of Charlesworth Nuts gift packs and Orafol merchandise packs for those who won each rink.
Lisa Michalanney from Signageworld, who is the ASGA Chair for South Australia, addressed the gathering briefly at the end of the night, thanking the group for their attendance, providing an overview of the Australian industry and emerging trends, and highlighting some of the Association’s achievements for 2023.
She encouraged those attending to involve themselves in the ASGA by maintaining their membership and taking advantage of the generous member benefits available. In particular, she urged business owners to enter the 2024 Currie Group National Sign & Display Awards and spread the word to other sign writers.
