SCREEN 300ppi Pantone293CScreen showed a working Truepress PAC 520P complete with Mondi Functional Barrier paper for digitally printing paper-based flexible packaging that is heat-sealable and food safe for dry, frozen, fresh, and other foods. It possesses a 95/5% paper-to-plastic content, is PVDS and PFAS-free and the paper is sourced from sustainable resources.

The PAC 520P itself is an inkjet press with a 520mm we width developed specifically for paper-based packaging to replace plastic films.

There is also a unit of the new PAC830F flexible packaging press on the stand, designed to use water-based ink on conventional plastic films. The whole machine would be 22 metres long and a challenge to bring to drupa.

Screen's highly successful Truepress LABEL L350UV SAI has been upggraded with a digital primer that enables inkjet printing on a wider variety of materials. The primer station is inline and does not interrupt normal printing.
