Following the establishment of a sales office in May this year, Orafol has commenced recruiting for a full-blown branch operation in New Zealand/Aotearoa. This follows on from Orafol's rapid expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, under the APAC region's Executive VP, Alex McClelland.
Orafol now has the experienced Steve Maclean heading up the New Zealand branch operation, as General Manager. Joining in September and undergoing onboarding and training at Orafol's Sydney HQ, Maclean comes with years of experience in signage, display, architectural and materials supply, having served many years with Cohesive and Computaleta.
Now, Orafol NZ is actively recruiting for multiple roles, ready for a 2025 official launching of the branch. The positions include:
- Account Managers / Business Development Managers
- Various levels of Operations and Customer Service Roles
- Administrative Manager
Auckland location premises are currently being finalised for a roaring start in 2025.
Steve Maclean says: "Joining ORAFOL NZ means more than just a job. It’s a chance to be part of a New Zealand start-up backed by a global industry leader. We're looking to help shape our culture and direction from day one, growing your careers alongside a rapidly expanding Orafol APAC region. The new team will support a diverse range of customers and projects across our extensive graphics innovations, reflective solutions, and adhesive tape systems range."
Orafol, headquartered near Berlin, Germany, has steadily expanded globally, becoming a major supplier of self-adhesive films, reflective safety materials and recently celebrated 35 years of operation in the free world, following the fall of the Berlin Wall. It is still family-owned and managed, with a remarkable record of achievement, investment and growth following years of state-controlled operation in the former GDR.
The establishment of a dedicated New Zealand branch cements a true north-to-south global presence for Orafol and further stregthens the company's Asia-Pacific/Oceania footprint.
Applications for the available positions are invited.
