Kayell, Canon, Epson and Canson will join Photo & Fine Art at PacPrint 2025. Following the successful gallery, technology display and workshop at Visual Impact 2023, Kayell Australia, supported by Canon, Epson and Canson (Infinity papers) will again participate in the Photo & Fine Art sector of the May 20-23rd event.
Photo & Fine Art printing is the ultimate in colour fidelity, longevity and resolution
A highlight will be an extensive gallery of Photo Art originals presented by Canon with Kayell, and printed on Canson Infinity papers.
The popular workshops will return, presented by Kayell Australia experts and supported by Canon, Epson, Canson and Eizo colour-calibratable monitors.
Robert Gatto, Managing Director of Kayell Australia says: “We have staunchly supported the Photo & Fine Art sector for many years and believe we have Australia’s foremost knowledge on the right printers, inks papers and colour management to achieve high-fidelity and long- lasting art prints from photographic originals. We welcome the opportunity to present this within PacPrint 2025, and also run hands-on workshops again in a specially configured room.”
The area devoted to Photo & Fine Art is central at PacPrint and also includes other nearby galleries and samples from Spicers and Epson.
Mr Gatto adds: “Photo & Fine Art customers live in a mostly RGB world for stunning extended gamut colour and saturation. We at Kayell understand this and the conversion to CMYK + special colours and blacks, as all inkjet printers work with CMYK with the optional addition of extra colours and varying densities of black. It’s the colour management and appreciation of the RGB image capture and workspace that makes all the difference, even for monochromatic art photography.”
The Photo & Fine Art area covers several stands inside the Dome of Sydney Olympic Park’s Showground, including D48, D25 and D26. The workshops, which must be booked in advance, take place in a quiet upstairs room behind the Connections Hub area.
Workshop places cost $89, which includes all materials used. To book a spot, you can use THIS LINK
