pozitive logoPhil Trumble, Managing Director of Pozitive Sign & Graphic Supplies, says: “We’re excited to introduce these new models to the Australian market and we anticipate strong interest in them from forward-thinking print businesses.”

Designed for users with high quality requirements and small to medium production volumes, Phil adds: “The Topi 5 and Oryx 5 round out swissQprint’s Generation 5 portfolio and bring the proven reliability and print quality of this range across more accessible configurations.”

The Topi 5 is a 3.2x2m wide flatbed printer capable of producing up to 126 m²/h and the Oryx 5 is its 2.5m wide counterpart, with an output of up to 114 m²/h (circa 26% greater productivity than its’ Oryx 4 predecessor). Both machines boast excellent precision and facilitate greater versatility than their predecessors, not least because of their roll-to-roll configuration option.

swissQprint logoCarmen Eicher, Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at swissQprint, adds: “We now have a tailor-made solution for every size of business and each of our 5th generation models come with a whole range of competitive advantages, including ten freely configurable colour channels for maximum versatility – including neon, orange, varnish or primer - as well as a maximum resolution of 1350dpi.”

swissQprint has built the flatbed Generation 5 on a whole new technology platform, including state-of-the-art linear drives for greater precision and speed and a range of add-on options that allow users to build their printer modularly, according to their needs, and to expand later. Modular choices include a roll-to-roll or dual roll configuration, an oversize board option for rigid media up to 4 metres long, and a collector paper option that eliminates clean-up work for operators who regularly do full bleed printing. Colour channels can also be retrofitted or converted in the field and swissQprint offers various ink sets for different purposes.

Eicher adds: “Our longer-standing customers have repeatedly confirmed that swissQprint machines have always had a working life in excess of a decade and keep on delivering incredibly reliable service even at an advanced age, which is why we were also the first supplier to back our product reliability with a 36-month factory warranty, on every model, in every configuration.”
