As part of its current Wrap Matrix Workshop Tour, Graphic Art Mart has recently announced the debut of the all-new Arlon Graphics ANZ 5800X Premium Polymeric Air-Egress Film on a synthetic liner, specifically designed to make everyday signage installations faster and more efficient.
The all-new Arlon Graphics ANZ 5800X Premium Polymeric Air-Egress Film on a synthetic liner is available across a full range of 50 colours
Mark Canavan, Marketing and Vendor Relations Manager Graphic Art Mart, says: “The 5800X was developed with everyday signage and fast-turnaround jobs in mind. It offers premium features for the cost of a standard polymeric and it is well-suited to display graphics, retail and promotional installs, and applications where a reliable, professional finish is needed without extended installation time.”
“By combining air-egress technology, a wide colour selection, and installer-friendly roll sizes, the 5800X Series aims to bridge the gap between affordability and performance in polymeric films.”
Traditionally reserved for cast films, air-egress technology is now being applied to polymeric films, expanding options for projects with flat or slightly curved surfaces. Rolls are produced at 1.25 metres wide, slightly larger than the 1.22m industry standard, providing edge to edge coverage on rigid panels. Outdoor durability is rated at up to seven years (five for metallics). The product is available in introductory roll lengths of 25 metres to reduce stock commitment, handling weight and storage requirements, and is available across a full range of 50 colours.
The synthetic liner provides several benefits during production and installation, including improved cut precision, easier weeding, lay-flat stability, and a glossier finished appearance.
The synthetic liner is already in use across other Arlon ranges, such as the 2100SL, 2500SL and 5200, but this marks the first time it has been integrated into a polymeric option.
