iMedia has some new heavyweight management expertise

In the latter half of 2008 Paperlinx announced a changing of the guard within their Merchanting operations when they appointed Mr Larry Jackson as the new Executive General Manager, Paperlinx Merchanting ANZA.

Larry replaced Mr Martin Fothergill who has relocated to Paperlinx Head Office in Mount Waverley and will now hold the position of Executive General Manager, Global Merchanting.

Prior to this appointment, Larry had the role of President Paperlinx Merchanting Canada. Operations within Canada included two Merchanting businesses, Spicers and Coast Paper. Under Larry’s guidance the Canadian operations grew and excelled across much of the graphics industry with exposure in printing papers, graphic arts, industrial products and wide format.

Now that Larry has finally made the permanent relocation with his family in January 2009, his additional know-how will be invaluable to iMedia. With iMedia’s aggressive growth strategies in place under the guidance of their General Manger Mr Chris Lewis-Williams, together with Larry’s ability to grow businesses in an innovative and inspirational way, there’s no doubt iMedia’s future is looking very positive. It’s no coincidence that Spicers Canada live under the promise of “more than you imagined” and there’s a real expectation that things will be done differently at iMedia as well.

Larry will help iMedia implement proven service and product offers from his Canadian experience. It will be a natural and seamless evolution seeing that both Spicers Canada and iMedia have a very similar focus of providing customers with innovative products and service excellence - something that both Larry and Chris share a common belief and vision for.
