The Opus Print Group of which Cactus Imaging and Omnigraphics are a part of, is proud to announce that it has joined forces with two Canberra based print companies, CanPrint Communications (CanPrint) and Union Offset Printers (Union Offset).
Today’s announcement extends Opus Print Group into the specialist division of Government Printing – adding to its existing divisions of Short-Medium Run Book Printing and Out of Home Printing.
Sharing the same Fyshwick facility, both CanPrint and Union Offset are large scale operations that print for a range of Government and Commercial clients.
The businesses handle a large quantity of restricted Government print work and therefore a high level of security is paramount. The businesses also provide full ancillary services such as inventory management, direct mailing and call centre facilities to deliver a total print management solution.
Opus Print Group CEO, Cliff Brigstocke, is excited about teaming up with the two Canberra Government Printers. “We continue to pursue our strategy of only joining forces with high performing businesses that make our group stronger. Most notably for Brigstocke, joining forces with the two businesses significantly adds scale to Opus Print Group. As well as providing a third print division for the Group, CanPrint & Union Offset will boost the Group’s revenue and total workforce headcount by over 50%. Opus Print Group companies will also gain direct access to the commercial print capabilities of CanPrint & Union Offset. “All print divisions can now combine their core capabilities to develop an attractive single source print solution to secure more group wide accounts,” he said.
