iMedia have announced that they have been appointed a reseller for the Hewlett Packard L65500 Latex Printer.
This colour inkjet printer is designed for printing high-quality images on flexible substrates from 36" (914 mm) to 104" (2.64 m) wide.
Featuring printing speeds of up to 846 ft²/h (79m²/h), it is environmentally friendly and uses odourless, aqueous latex inks in six colours.
Able to print on a wide range of substrates including most low-cost, uncoated, solvent-compatible substrates, it also requires no special ventilation and produces no hazardous waste. The three-litre ink cartridges mean having to change ink cartridges less frequently, and when you do have to, they can be changed while printing.
A popular feature in many HP printers is their ability to accurately and consistently reproduce a wide gamut of colours, with automatic colour calibration via the built-in spectrophotometer and the L65500 certainly makes use of these features.
It’s ability to produce durable prints with outdoor display permanence of up to three years unlaminated (five years laminated) make this a desirable printer for use in outdoor signage industries as well as many other printing environments.
