Positive Camtec and Aarque Graphics (NZ) become partners to resell Seal laminators and Neschen consumables.
In a move that strengthens Starleaton Digital Solution’s position as an importer, converter and distributor of wide format printing technologies and consumables, the company has appointed Positive Camtec, Australia, as a reseller of SEAL brand laminators and laminates, plus Neschen brand vinyl, fabric and eco-friendly materials for signage and display. Across the Tasman, prominent wide format supply company Aarque Graphics will market the same brands to the New Zealand industry.

“Both Positive Camtec and Aarque Graphics share our total commitment to customer service from start to finish,” says Starleaton director Ben Eaton. “Their reputation in the market has grown over many years and both companies saw a good fit into their businesses with SEAL and Neschen. Geographically, these initiatives will also assist wide format users in more distant areas as the spread is tremendous. Aarque in New Zealand has offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin while Positive Camtec has deep penetration in NSW and other parts of Australia.
Eaton continues; “Of equal importance, Aarque and Positive Camtec are passionate about environmental matters and this sits perfectly with our Neschen Eco range – including the biodegradable cornstarch material we used for the huge rotating sign above out Pacprint stand.”
POSITIVE CAMTEC was started in 1992 by Ray Clarke and Philip Trumble and for many years focused solely of service and support. Today the company employs 15 people and supports products in CNC routing, 3D machining, cutting, sublimation and software in addition to digital wide format printing with Teckwin, Roland DG and Epson.
AARQUE GRAPHICS (NZ) has a 60-year history and is something of a legend in the New Zealand industry. The company represents a raft of CAD/GIS products and is the major distributor for Epson and Roland DG technologies, but also supplies HP and Seiko. Aarque was appointed a distributor of Agfa :Anapurna flatbed/roll UV printers at the same time as Starleaton. Like Starleaton, Aarque handles the excellent ColorGate RIP wide format range. Aarque has partnered with Starleaton on SEAL previously but will now add Neschen and increase SEAL’s profile in New Zealand.
