Océ has announced that its wide format Océ ColorWave 600 printer has received the IDSA Bronze Award, yet another award for this eco friendly printer.
Océ was honoured for its "commitment to design excellence," according to the jury report of the 2009 International Design Excellence Awards.
Océ was awarded bronze in the Commercial and Industrial Products category.
“The Océ ColorWave 600 has the ability to print on plain and recycled paper and combines the strengths of inkjet and toner in the one system by converting the TonerPearls into a gel. This tonergel is then jetted and crystallised onto the media.
The system is also acclaimed since it produces no ozone, no ink vapours, no system contamination.
