Raster Printers introduced its Daytona T600UV, a 60 inch by 48 inch (152 cm X 122 cm) Flatbed UV printer.
The stationary vacuum table design with a moving gantry offers versatile media handling, from small tiles and labels to large heavy boards, precise dot registration and sharp text. Daytona T600UV is the first wide format printer to implement the latest M-Class Hex printhead module based on MEMS printhead technology from FUJIFILM Dimatix. Its advanced VersaDrop grey scale technology is capable of producing photographic images at true 1080 dpi (greyscale support will be available in near future).
Six print heads, each with 304 nozzles can be configured as CMYK and lc, lm or with White ink and Varnish. Raster Printers are offering an introductory price of under US$70,000 for this machine that can offer speeds of up to 480 sq. feet per hour.
