EFI has announced that digital media and print technologies specialist Simon Trytell has joined its Asia Pacific sales team.
Trytell has 20 years experience in the printing industry. A respected industry figure, Trytell began his career with Kwik Kopy Printing before joining Canon Australia as a Technical Sales Specialist selling high-end digital and wide-format colour printing systems to corporates and printing businesses. Later, as National Business Manager for 
Océ he was responsible for high level production accounts.
Prior to joining EFI, Trytell worked for Konica Minolta Australia as a production specialist working with high volume sites within the corporate and government sectors.
“Simon’s blend of experience in the printing industry, his expertise in strategic planning and business development and his in-depth technical knowledge will be invaluable to EFI’s continued expansion in Australia and New Zealand,” says Anthony Parnemann, EFI’s country manager. “We’ve known Simon for a number of years and his familiarity with EFI’s technology means he will be able to hit the ground running.”
Trytell will be responsible for sales development in Australia and New Zealand for EFI’s VUTEk range of superwide printers, Rastek wide-format printers and Jetrion industrial narrow web inkjet printers as well as EFI’s Fiery technology.
