The “European Digital Press Association” has selected the Durst Rho 600 Pictor as “Best Product of the year” in the category “Flatbed printer”. This prestigious award was handed over to Durst on the 6th June at Fespa 2007 in Berlin by the president of the association Agustin Torres.
Durst Rho 600 Pictor is a 1600 mm wide flatbed printer with 600 dpi resolution, introduced to the market at Digital Fespa in Amsterdam 2006 and since more than 100 units have been installed worldwide. Core technology of the Pictor is the Durst Quadro array 30, a compact printhead with constant ink flow, heated printplate and 30 pl drop size based on Spectra-Dimatix slots which Durst assemble themselves in their ultra clean room facility in their factory in Lienz Austria.
Durst Rho 600 Pictor prints in previously unachievable quality @ 25 sq mtr /hr with text as small as 4 points.
