The largest Arizona flatbed on the market, the Océ Arizona 550 XT will be one of the highlights of the Visual Impact Image Expo in Melbourne.
It will be demonstrated in harness with the Océ ProCut cutting system, illustrating the powerful features of both units.
The Océ Arizona 550 XT is able to print on panels as large as 2.5m x 3.05m and up to 50mm thick. delivering print speeds of up to 65 m2 per hour and enabling printing of more than 150 sheets of 1220 x 2440mm sheets in a single shift.
Productivity is the key to the 550 XT. The two separate vacuum bed zones enable continuous printing with no downtime between prints. After the first sheet is printed, the print head moves, automatically starting to print the second sheet.
The operator is able to remove the first printed sheet to set-up another clean sheet. Normally a printer would print one sheet at a time and wait for the first to finish before placing the second one on the printer, so there are critical time advantages on long print runs with the Arizona 550 XT.
Also on display will be Océ’s ColorWave 600 Poster Printer, ideal for the fast production of colour posters, banners, point-of-sale (POS) applications and even short run flyers and brochures.
The printer can be supplied with two, four or six rolls and has a maximum print speed of 106 metres per hour. Plain paper, outdoor paper, blue-black paper, film, Tyvek® and recycled paper can be used.
Both printers will be driven by Onyx ProductionHouse X10.1
