Australian drupa 2012 attendees will be able to attend the ANZAC Dawn Service at Gallipoli as part of a special tour timed to dovetail with the opening of the drupa exhibition.
Details of the tour were announced this week by Printing Industries as an optional add-on to its Get Ready to Succeed drupa tour in conjunction with Eastern Suburbs Travel.
The 11 day tour begins in Istanbul, Turkey on 22 April 2012 before moving to Gallipoli visiting the WW1 battlefields on Gallipoli Peninsular, war memorials at Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair and Johnston’s Jolly, the trenches and ANZAC museum.
Participants stay overnight to attend the ANZAC Dawn Service at ANZAC COVE on 25 April before continuing a tour of the region.
Highlights of the 11 day trip include tours of:

Printing Industries National Communication and Technical Services Manager, Joe Kowalewski, said the tour ends back in Istanbul on 2 May – the opening day for drupa.
“The timing presents a unique opportunity for drupa attendees to prepare for their their visit to Düsseldorf by being part of the historic ANZAC Day commemoration at ANZAC Cove and then experiencing some of the wonders of the ancient Greek and Roman empires,” he said.
