Starleaton Digital Solutions is relocating its NSW warehouse, showroom and HQ to new larger premises nearby in Brookvale.
“The move will increase our warehousing space by 50% to 3,000 square metres,” says General Manager Ben Eaton. “We’ve just run out of space at the Powell’s Rd premises, despite twice increasing our stockholding area. As we have added successful new lines such as ContraVision, Roland DG, 3A Composites and our new line of Helix media, the containers keep arriving for processing and we’ve had to store many of them off-site. Hopefully, our logistics will improve greatly by having more container handling area, racking and overall space in NSW.”

In order to clear as much space as possible before the physical more, Starleaton is holding a ‘Moving Sale’ for the next 6 weeks – details on their website with the catchy slogan ‘we’d rather ‘gift it’ than shift it!’
“Additionally, we are offering customers no-obligation three month trials on the two most popular SEAL brand laminators. This will free up space as well as give printers an opportunity to try a SEAL laminator for three months and then decide if they want to buy it or return it. There is a small charge for delivery installation and training, but even this is refundable against purchase after the trial period ends,” says Eaton.
All Starleaton state branches have also moved and experience increased warehouse areas over the past 1-2 years. “The company believes in carrying in stock what we sell, “says Eaton, “this is not always easy and we also convert from jumbo rolls locally, but with the team we have I believe we offer service levels well above the industry average. The new site includes a full ‘clean room-specification’ converting area, with additional converting equipment planned for delivery in 2012. We are now able to convert rolls up to 5 metres wide.”
The move will take place in stages over the Christmas and New Year break and throughout January. The new Starleaton citadel is in the appropriately-named ‘Clearview Terrace’ Brookvale.
“When all the hard work is done and the long-overdue expanded showroom is running, we’ll host a party, “beams Eaton, “we like parties.”
