Applications are now being received for the 2008 GAMAA Leadership Programme - Scholarships. Scholarships are open to all individuals working in the graphic media and printing technologies industry who have the support of their employer and can meet the academic requirements of entry.
Now in its sixth year the GAMAA Leadership Programme is unique in its offering - the GAMAA scholarship contributes financially towards course fees allowing successful applicants to study the programme of their choice at any recognised institution. Applicants are encouraged to select from a range of leadership or business education programmes which fall within the prescribed criterion.
Since its inception the GAMAA Leadership Programme has steadily developed a reputation that has resulted in applications for the scholarship programme coming from both supplier and producer sides of the spectrum – a key objective for the programme which is designed to develop the industry leaders of the future.
“Attracting applicants from both side of the commercial fence – supply and buy – was integral to the core values of the programme,” said Samantha Crock, GAMAA Education Manager.
A unique feature of the GAMAA scholarship programme is the automatic inclusion of scholarship recipients in the GAMAA residential workshop programme which is open to all working in the industry. “The workshop series is a vital element of the scholarship programme and provides participants with a unique opportunity to explore their potential in a challenging, yet supportive environment.”
Application forms for the 2008 GAMAA Leadership Programme - Scholarships can be obtained from the GAMAA website at www.gamaa.net.au/ or via email enquire@gamaa.net.au
