DES Pty Ltd has appointed Jamie Lockhart to the position of sales executive, sign and display products, in the company’s Brisbane office.
The avowed Manchester United fan settled in Australia from his native Ireland last year and is now a staunch supporter of the Brisbane Roar A-League team.
His key focus at DES will be its recently expanded sign and display portfolio resulting from the acquisition of the MACtac range of computer cut, digital print and laminate products, as well as a new range of flexible banner and roll up display products.
Lockhart transferred to DES from the previous MACtac distributor, DSS Supply One which went into receivership last year.
His 17-year career has spanned several Irish trade suppliers to the sign making, digital print and visual graphics industry. In his last position as Northern Ireland account manager for Dublin’s Sign & Digital Ltd, he grew his territory sales by 300 per cent.
