Roland DG has introduced two new VersaART 64-inch (1625mm) inkjet printers: the RE-640 eco-solvent model for worldwide distribution.
The RA-640* aqueous model is for distribution in China and Korea where large format aqueous inkjets are widely used.

Engineered for long, unattended production runs, the new VersaART line features Roland's latest print head technology for outstanding image quality. The VersaART's unique eight-channel print head accurately reproduces the finest details while delivering vibrant high-density colours for flawless photographic reproductions, smooth gradations and superb contrast. A mirrored dual CMYK ink configuration (CMYKKYMC) produces unrivaled colour consistency, even in the fastest print modes - 33m2/h for the RA-640 and 23.1 m2/h for the RE-640. In fact, with the new VersaArt series, the image quality achieved in high-speed mode equals that of the previous model's standard mode. As a result, high-quality prints can be produced much faster.
